Best Thriller:
The Deceived, by Brett Battles (Delacorte)

Best Short Story:
"The Drought", by James O. Born (from The Blue Religion, edited by Michael Connelly; Little, Brown)

Don Sandstrom Memorial Award for Lifetime Achievement in Mystery Fandom:

The winners were announced on October 15 during the Bouchercon Opening Ceremonies in Indianapolis, Indiana.
