2012 CWA Dagger Shortlists (Part 2) Announced

The Crime Writers' Association of Britain (CWA) has announced the shortlists of the following three categories of the 2012 Dagger Awards:

The Flight, by M.R. Hall (Mantle)
The Rage, by Gene Kerrigan (Vintage)
Bereft, by Chris Womersley (Quercus)

THE IAN FLEMING STEEL DAGGER:
Dare Me, by Megan Abbott (Picador)
A Foreign Country, by Charles Cumming (HarperCollins)
The Fear Index, by Robert Harris (Hutchinson)
Reamde, by Neal Stephenson (Atlantic)

THE JOHN CREASEY (NEW BLOOD) DAGGER:
Heart-Shaped Bruise, by Tanya Byrne (Headline)
A Land More Kind than Home, by Wiley Cash (Bantam)
Good People, by Ewart Hutton (HarperCollins)
What Dies in Summer, by Tom Wright (Canongate)

The winners will be announced on October 18 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
