「久米書店」で多摩南読書会の様子が紹介されます！（執筆者･越前敏弥）

　５月８日（日）の午後６時から、ＢＳ日テレ「久米書店」にわたしが出演することになりました（すでに収録済）。店主の久米宏さん、店員の壇蜜さん♡といっしょに、２月に出た著書『翻訳百景』の紹介をします。54分番組のうち、途中に別のコーナーをはさんで約40分間、この本の話をします。

『翻訳百景』は、翻訳の仕事や翻訳書の愉しみについてさまざまな角度から書いた本で、番組内でも全国翻訳ミステリー読書会や読書探偵作文コンクールなどについてふれました。そして、トークの途中で、３月26日（土）におこなわれた多摩南読書会（課題書『俺の職歴』）の様子が約２分間紹介されることになっています。何人かのかたへのインタビューも放送される予定（どの時間帯になるかなど、詳細はわかりません、ごめんなさい）。撮影に協力してくださった多摩南読書会世話人・参加者の皆さん、ゲストの群像社・島田進矢さん、突然の依頼に快く応じてくださってありがとうございました。

　正直なところ、わたし自身については、言いたいことが言えたかどうか不安は大きいのですが、全国ネットの番組で読書会の紹介をできること、それも良心的な小出版社の作品を紹介できることだけでも成果だと思っています。その日はぜひＢＳ日テレ（ＢＳ４チャンネル）をご覧ください。〈ちびまる子ちゃん〉や〈サザエさん〉をどうしても観たいかたは録画でどうぞ。

　ところで、この『俺の職歴』、革命期のロシアの短編集で、作者が不遇の晩年を送ったなんて聞くと、小むずかしくて陰気くさい作品を想像するかもしれませんが、とんでもない、とんでもない。妙ちきりんなおっさんやおばちゃんや魑魅魍魎ばかりが侃々諤々の活躍をするぶっとんだ珍品が満載です。顔筋と腹筋の強烈なトレーニングをしたい人以外は、電車のなかで読むことはお勧めしません。だまされたと思って、みんな読んでね。
